About Marler Art

After moving to Port St Lucie, Florida I started painting as a hobby but it has turned into a passion as I have discovered how much I enjoy painting.  Being a photographer made it easier to learn color, composition and perspective with my paintings. I enjoyed photographing architecture and now enjoy painting it along with other subject matter such as nature, floral and modern art.   At present I am working with acrylics. I gravitate towards realism in my paintings as I find it to be more of a challenge.  I belong to the Port St Lucie Art league, St Lucie Cultural Alliance, Martin County Art Council and the Pinellas Arts Council.
